I suffered a back problem from sitting long hours in the office, and found that a combination of yoga and osteopathy treatments helped me resolve the condition. I was so enthused by my recovery that I have left my corporate job to pursue my newfound passion for teaching yoga and to send out a vital message that “Yoga is for everyone and it can be a remedy to many health concerns – as it is great for both mental and physical health”.
I have obtained my 200HR Yoga Teacher Training Certification (Ashtanga – Vinyasa Flow) from Sampoorna Yoga, Goa, and started to teach yoga in Dubai in 2016, with the objective of improving overall health (with a focus on mobility) for deskbound individuals.
For me, yoga isn’t about achieving fancy cool poses, but of the journey of the self, through the self, to the self”. For every time you get onto your mat and practice yoga, you will learn to understand yourself better; learn to accept your body without expectations, realizing that your practice today will take you on an amazing journey for your overall wellbeing long term. It is that simple and that honest.
