Ashtanga Basics

Level: Beginner

This is an introduction to the Ashtanga system. This class is suitable for students who are beginners and are keen to learn the flow of the system. Students who are exposed to other forms of yoga e.g. Hatha or Sun Salutations would have advantageous. It focuses on the mandatory standing sequence and some seated asanas.

Introduction of the Ashtanga primary series and, or, its variations of the system will be taught.

*Recommendation: Open to all students. After having practice for 6 months to 1 year, you may wish to try the Ashtanga led class
