Teacher: Jenny Fraser

Following a successful career as a construction cost consultant with a global professional consultancy firm where Jenny held the position of Director of Cost Management for South East Asia, she took a bold step to take a break from the corporate world and move forward with her journey in life doing what she believed would provide her with a more holistic experience and more fulfilling quality of life. She started by stepping up her physical exercise regime with outdoor sports such as running, swimming and sailing as forms of exercises and also to clear the mind. It was during this period that she realised her enjoyment of the post-activity stretching routine and this turned into more formal regular yoga practise leading Jenny to a dedicated passion for yoga as she discovered the substantial benefits which yoga was having on all aspects of her life, a fulfillment well beyond simple flexibility.

Jenny has sought to deepen her knowledge and ability in Yoga practise by undertaking the challenging 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course and is certified as 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

To deepen the knowledge of understanding how Yoga can be incorporated into children’s world has been an eye opening experience for Jenny. Completing the Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training has been a fulfilling course for Jenny and some of the techniques taught could be applied to adult Yoga classes too.

Teaching Yoga Classes with fun and joy has always been Jenny’s way of expressing to students that anybody can practice yoga without looking serious. If you notice how much of an effort you make to get to something you really enjoy, Yoga is no different. When we enjoy our time on the mat, we are motivated to keep coming back to the mat. Regularly.
